Process for Upgrading Annual Subscriptions

The customer should know that their subscription will renew as of the day they're upgraded. There will be a prorated amount charged (due to the credit from the prematurely ended subscription and deducted from their new subscription's annual fee). 

To give the client an estimate, in Excel calculate their amount by subtracting their subscription's start date and today's date, then take those number of days and divide it by 365. Take their current version's price and multiply it by that percentage. Subtract the current version's price by the "amount paid to date" to get the remaining credit amount. Then take the new version's price and subtract it from their credit to get the prorated amount. 

In Maxio:

  • Under subscription actions, 'Upgrade/Downgrade' to select their new version. 

In Salesforce

  • Update their MRR and Version if applicable

In Bryt Admin:

  • Update their version
